Jackson was asking Alyson, our babysitter, to draw a picture of the family. When she asked if she should draw Tucker, Jackson said, "I love Tucker, but he makes me pull my hair!" - sounded hysterical, but I think he meant that Tucker pulls his hair!

No T-ball practice for us tonight! As we were sitting at dinner, Jackson announced that he had to poop. Of course he did, we were by ourselves at Chick Fil-A and had just started eating. Thank goodness for rolling high chairs! I asked the people next to me to make sure they didn't take our food away and then rolled Tucker into the bathroom so ... See Morewe could wait while Jackson pooped. (Cue Jeopardy theme) Jackson takes FOREVER to poop, because he is too busy singing, tapping his toes, etc to focus on the task at hand. Tucker is screaming because I took him away from his fruit cup, and Mommy is losing her mind! After I don't know how long, the lady that was "watching" our food came in and asked if we were ok...HOW EMBARASSING! I did everything possible to try to get my son off the toilet, but he "wasn't done yet!" Meanwhile, Tucker is still screaming and Jackson is still singing, and Mommy is getting closer to the edge! He finally said he was done, so we collected ourselves and headed out to our cold dinner, and relieved our food babysitter. By that time t-ball practice had already started and we were just starting dinner, for the second time! Seriously Jackson you are going to have to learn to poop faster!

Well, I have been chosen as a finalist for Stroller Strides Franchisee of the Year, waaaaahoooooo! We had to create/submit a 2 minute video......and voila, here it is! This video would look nothing like my vision if it wasn't for the LaCour's who generously donated their time and talent for my cause :) THANK YOU!

After a short visit in NY we headed to OH to visit Nanny and Pappaw. It was great to see the whole gang get together for Mexican night where Bindy makes every kind of Mexican food possible and we eat until we can eat no more :) Jackson got to ride on Pappaw's 4-wheeler and Tucker took a nap on my shoulder (a first). Here are the pics to prove it:)

Our vacation in NY was wonderful. Jackson had such an amazing time bonding with his Grandma and Grandpa. When we got to their house he ran to them as if he gets to see them everyday, and they held him in their arms. My Dad got to meet Tucker for the first time, precious! Jackson immediately started bossing around Bear, the 100# chocolate lab, and got all giddy when we saw his Uncle Donny. GREAT GREAT memories!

Yeah, so God must have known I was WAY behind on my blog and thought I needed something to blog about :)...VACATION! So be prepared for lots of information, lots of pictures, lots of ancecdotes:)

Once upon a time, the Grayson family decided to take a whirlwind vacation. Papa Grayson, Mama Grayson, Big Brother Grayson (Jackson), and Little Brother Grayson (Tucker), were going to jump on a plan to Columbus, Ohio to visit Nanny and Pappaw and then another plane to visit Grandma and Grandpa.......pretty simple right? WRONG!

So Todd and I went to be around midnight Sunday morning, after a long day and finally getting things packed. Up again at 3:00 to shower and get the boys up by 4:00 to get to the airport around 4:30 for out 5:45am flight! We drive to long term parking, unload the Suburban, load ourselves on the shuttle, unload by curb-side check, and are told that our flight has been cancelled! Oh no they didn't! But hey, we had the first flight out, so for sure they would get us out in a couple of hours.

So we waited in line to talk to someone with Delta....45 minutes later, Jackson had eaten all of his snacks while patiently waiting in the stroller, I had nursed Tucker while standing in line, and we had plenty of time to stew. The lovely attendent then told us that we would be rebooked on a flight Monday morning at 10:30am, ummm no we won't....we have a strict time schedule. Sunday-Wednesday in OH, Wednesday-Saturday in NY, don't screw it up!

My first tactic....let's try to fly into another city....Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinatti, Dayton, Charleston....NOPE. Well what if we go to NY first and then OH? Can you get us into Albany, Syracuse, Plattsburgh, Burlington, JFK, LaGuardia, Newark, Islip? NOPE! Our ONLY option was to wait until Monday and then spend only 1 1/2 days in OH...that wasn't going to happen, and I definitely was NOT going home after accomplishing the feat of getting the entire family out the door packed and ready for vacation!

So we slowly make our way back to the shuttle to head to long term parking....wait, I can call Southwest, they fly out of Dallas Love Field, maybe they can fly us somewhere in the continental US today? After 20 minutes on the phone trying to make our way to see at least one set of grandparents....and an extra $1000 for tickets....we booked a flight to Islip, NY....4 hours from Grandma and Grandpa. In all the excitement that we were actually going on vacation that day, I didn't take notice as to how we were going to get there.....Dallas to Houston to Orlando to Islip and then a 4 hour car trip to Bolton Landing! BTW, it was our plane going to all those places so we were not allowed to deplane from 9:00am-4:40pm! We survived on peanuts and pretzels!

So after 21 hours of travel, we made it HOME....to good old Lake George, where Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Donny, and Bear (my parents 100# chocolate lab) welcomed us!

One REALLY positive thing from this whole ordeal, which makes the 21 hours worth it. On our drive from Islip to Bolton we were able to stop an visit my Gran E and let her meet Tucker! She just celebrated her 89th birthday, so we feel so blessed that she had about an hour visit with the boys! Here are some pics....

A few notes on these photos...

1. We got these cool John Deere Walkie Talkie Headsets at the LUNA Moms Club Nickle Auction yesterday for $1...woohoo...except only one works. Jackson refused to put it on his head so he put it around his waist:)

2. Yes, these photos are censored. We don't normally have Jackson walk around the house butt-naked, but we were about to put his big boy underware on for the day when he had to run and get his new toy.

3. Todd put the head set on Magnus so he and Jackson could talk back and forth. Bless poor Magnus, he is such a good sport. We think they look like they work at McDonalds..."Welcome to McDonalds, may I take your order?" :)

I feed Gucker!

Yesterday I asked Jackson to scoot over on the chair so I could sit down and feed Tucker. Jackson's reply was, "I fee Gucker!" I figured ok, let's see, so I said, "Sure!" I layed Tucker down on his lap, Jackson smiled and proceeded to lift up his shirt. After about 10 seconds of sitting there with Tucker on his lap, holding his shirt up, he smiled again and said, "Momma feed Gucker."

Cuteness! One to share with them when they are teenagers and really embarass them! :)

Oh yeah....we're potty training Jackson, as of Christmas Eve. Lots of fun, gross, stories.....I will save them from print as to save you from vomitting :) I'll be sure to post a pic of Jackson in his big boy underware once he makes it out of the cotton training pants.

Wish we could be with family today, but I am excited to start some traditions of our own on Christmas as well. So we did presents this morning. Jackson was in his cotton training pants in all the pics because we are on day 2 of potty training....had to tackle that project when Daddy was going to be home for a few days. He did have cute pajamas on that matched Tucker, but had to get on the potty right away. This afternoon we are going to go to a movie at Movie Tavern, Marley and Me, and hope that Jackson and Tucker both make it through it. Should be exciting nursing Tucker and taking 20 minute potty breaks with Jackson....we'll definitely have to get it on Netflix when it comes out so we can see the entire movie.

Sorry there are not more pics, but Tucker was nursing and Todd was helping with presents, so we were caught up in the moment.

Ok, so I wanted to post some random cute moments from the past week or so, before I forget. I will add the pictures as soon as I get a free minute to download them from the camera.

Working in reverse order.

We got the Christmas tree and put it up this evening. We are skimping on the decorations this year since we got a late start and I pretty much don't have time for all the big stuff. So I decided Christmas tree, stockings, Christmas lamp outside and of course.....Frosty the Snowman. It was great to see Jackson get excited to see it again, I think he remembers it from last year. BTW, thanks to Grandpa for that initial investment 3 years ago, well worth it! I think Jackson is actually starting to understand that Christmas is coming.

Next, Jackson has started singing Baa Baa Black Sheep all by himself. It is precious! I have been trying to catch it on film, but no luck yet. Today I asked him to sing it to Tucker when he was fussing and I was finishing getting dressed. Tucker loved it, smiled, and started to coo right along. Tear-jerker!

I also have to say that Jackson has been the best Stroller Strides kiddo since we got back after Tucker was born. I know that he appreciates it more now that we have been away. He loves to sing along, count with us, and of course looks forward to playing outside of the stroller when we are done.

I think that sums it up...keep an eye out for pics! :)

the last post of Jackson dancing...that is why it has taken me so long to post again. We went to Toys 'R Us last night to get some deals and Jackson got his first pair of running shoes...ADIDAS:). He got to wear them this morning with his new shirt too. Man oh man he can run fast....check it out. On your mark, get set, GO!

Fridge DJ that is, courtesy of LeapFrog.......ever heard of Annie Who? Great song (not)...very annoying after about the 10th time. Jackson LOVES that song and he continually presses to the button to make it start over, just so he can get his groove on and dance to it. I will deal with the song, just to watch him dance.....see below :)

Babysitter training...

I asked Jackson to watch Tucker for me yesterday morning while I made a cup of tea. So I sat Tucker next to Jackson on Daddy's recliner....and voila, instant babysitter. He and Tucker sat there and watched Blue's Clues while Mommy got everything ready for Stroller Strides. I think the staring at the TV is a boy thing for sure :), they take after their Daddy!

Ok, seriously don't answer, but I thought you guys may want an update on Mr. Tucker. As of Friday he was 10 lbs 2.5 oz and 23.5 in long. Whew....let's see where he started...7 lbs 13 oz and 22 in long...not bad progress for one month today! :)

I have always been and probably will always be a strong woman, but it amazes me sometimes what makes me melt :)....my boys!

Jackson's bedtime routine consists of a bath, snack, and then hugs and kisses for Mommy and now Tucker. Then as Daddy carries him upstairs he always says, "Night Night Momma, Love You Momma," and blows me a kiss, MUAW! Well now that Tucker is here, and Jackson is making a bit more of a connection with him, Mommy is on the back burner. I still get a hug and kiss, but now it is "Night Night Gucker, Love you Gucker." By the way this is all unprompted. We do ask him to give Tucker a kiss goodnight, but never anything else, this was all on his own. I can see the bond forming already and it makes me smile and melts my heart!

Another little anecdote....Tucker was napping in the swing today and Magnus kept lingering around trying to get a sniff of him. Jackson rushed right over and said, "No no Magnus, leave him lone." :) He also tried to restart his swing for him when I turned it off, while yelling, "Oh no Momma, Gucker's swing!"

In the midst of all that I am frantically trying to put away laundry and straighten up for our LMC MNO tonight! Whew.....what a day :)

Well I said once a week, and here i am :) I am busy uploading pictures to shutterfly from our laptop so I can erase all of my files on there....because I got a NEW laptop, YAHOO! Who knew I could get so excited about a laptop, but it really makes such a difference in my daily routine. With my new laptop I will be able to do all my work for Stroller Stride without having to be secluded from the family. Not to mention I will have something to keep me occupied while Todd is watching some of his favorite shows...blah!

Well, so much has happened since the last post....obviously, since it has been a good 5 months! We welcomed Tucker Sammis Grayson into the world on October 11th at 5:39am, after 33 hours of labor and 3 hours of pushing....what a trip that was! His birth was one of the most amazing things I have ever been a part of! I will post our birth story the next time Jackson and Tucker give me a five minute break :) Keep an eye out for some pics!

BOY! Yup, Jackson will have a little brother to watch over and pick on :) This was our first and probably only ultrasound of the pregnancy, since we are seeing a midwife. Everything went great...he measured up in every aspect and weighs a whopping 12 ounces :)

Todd and I have spent the evening searching for boys names, since Todd was convinced we were having a girl, we hadn't even thought about boy's names. I went through every single boys name on www.babynames.com and created a list and then Todd got to go through and nix about 75% of them. We had a list of 15 or so and then started saying the baby's full name and some didn't sound right at all....so we are down to 3! In one night we are almost decided on a name...crazy.

Well, I'm going to veg out for a few minutes before I hit the hay. So glad to know that my little man is doing a-ok and kicking the crap out of me every night, right before bed :)

Ok, so first thing on our list...the countdown is on...we are scheduled for an ultrasound on Tuesday, May 27th to make sure our little one is on schedule, and of course to take a peek and see if we may need to start purchasing pink clothes, or going through our stacks of blue ones:)

Other than that, nothing too exciting. I didn't teach Stroller Strides this morning, it is my morning off with Jackson. We hung out, cleaned up, of course read a million books, and then I got Jackson down for a nap. We are heading to the chiropractor for our weekly adjustment and our weekly trip to Whole Foods. On the list for today...more agave nectar! I have finally found something satisfying, besides water, that is acceptable to drink while I am expecting. Decaf Cold Brew Lipton Iced Tea with a little agave nectar, YUM!

Todd went to work this morning, like usual, but this afternoon he is off to watch Phil Mickelson and Rory Sabatini at the Colonial Golf Tournament in Fort Worth.....what a tough job he has :)

Tonight we have MNO with Luna Moms Club. I'm sure we will have a great time! Which means that Daddy and Jackson will hang out upstairs until Jackson goes to bed and Todd falls asleep on the couch.
